You've Got To See This If You Haven't Already

I have watched this with Brandon and the kids so many times. It makes you want to do a dance off. ENJOY..

More Beans

Just when you think there isn't anymore there's a lot more. This afternoon the kids and I picked more beans from the garden. I am so sick of them. But Colin, Noah and Brandon are loving the greens. They eat them either raw or cooked with butter and garlic. But I am thinking sooner or later they have to get sick of them. Let's hope....

A To Do List

Brandon made me a list of things that needed to get done. Brandon helped me download my pictures to the computer tonight and he came across this picture. I don't think he will ever give me a list again.

Lily Leaving the Boys Behind

On Sunday we took the kids to the park near the beach so they could dry off. Lily started off playing with her brothers and noticed a group of girls playing so Lily invited herself over to them. She started playing with the girls and following them around. Brandon and I couldn't believe how much she's grown into a little girl. The boys tried to get Lily to come over and play with them but she wanted to play with girl instead. She was sad when they left. She told me that her friends left without her.
We had a great time Sunday. We finally got to enjoy another day at the beach. The kids worked together to make a sand castle with a path leading down to the water. You maybe wondering why in every picture Gabe's shirt is on. The last couple of times we have went to the beach Gabe has decided not to go in the water. He will only put his feet in. A couple of weeks we went to the beach after a storm and branches and seaweed were everywhere and it scared Gabe. Now he thinks the beach is to dirty. We are hoping we can get him back in the water soon.

Noah The Birthday Boy

Noah turned 7 years old today. It makes you realize how time is so precious as a parent. I had to run out this morning(6:30 a.m.) to gets donuts, coffee and gifts for the big guy. After breakfast he was ready to open the gifts which worked out nice so they could play with them downstairs. Noah was so happy with all his gift and continuously thanked us throughout the day. He is such a great kid who has a lovely smile and makes us laugh nonstop. Also, has the same passion as his father cleaning. Happy Birthday to my Dear Noah.

Fun night out

On July 24th Brandon and I had the pleasure of going out with my mom and grandma. It started off with the ladies coming a hour early so they could visit with the kids and have a glass of wine out in Sun room. We went to Houlihan's for dinner and drinks. As you can see Brandon had a pitcher of Long Island Ice Tea and my mom had a regular glass. I had a Bloody Mary in a skinny glass and grandma had a glass of wine (which would make two glasses). Grandma was so funny she definitely was our entertainment over dinner. After dinner we went back to the house to play cards that my grandma taught both Brandon and I. Which involved money and she told us she wasn't good. I think she was hustling us because she won all the rounds. Grandma buying herself something nice. The last round she let Brandon win because she felt sorry for him (he was pulling at his hair in frustration). See last picture. We had a wonderful night.

We did it....

We decided last minute to have a garden this summer. We are growing tomatoes, cucumbers, snow peas and beans (it's a small garden). So far we have beans and we are hoping in the next week for some tomatoes.

Wanting to Be Young Again

I bought this headband this summer and only wore it once. The kids loved it. When I wore it Brandon had a huge grin on his face and asked what's on the side of my head as if it were a joke. He couldn't stop staring at it. Well I retired the headband and gave to someone I suppose is age appropriate. It definitely looks better on her and yes I bought it in the Ladies Section at Target.

Lemon Cake

One of our families favorite finds this summer is this lemon cake filled in the middle with raspberry filling . Yummy

New Kitchen Toy

Our stove stopped working. We went without a stove for 5 days which was difficult to plan meals. We have all white appliances and we sooner or later would like stainless. So we were in a little dilemma if we should either go stainless or buy a cheap white stove for $300 until we change all of the appliances to stainless. We decided on the same type of stove but stainless. I love the double oven and I think once you have it you can't image having anything different.
  1. I know it looks a little funny. But what can you do...

Painting Toes

Pedicure, anyone? I was going to give myself a pedicure and Lily wanted her toes polished as well. Lily wanted to do Lincoln Park After Dark (OPI polish). It's a good thing she likes wearing her croc's.
