Cool Shoe's

She loves her shoes. One of our problems with Lily is she has so much shoes and we have a hard time getting her to wear the appropriate shoes with the outfit. When Brandon's home she sometime wears two different shoes. She can be so indecisive like someone I know....

Back to School

Noah was so excited to go to school to see all his friends that he sincerely missed. He always brings 2 matchbox cars with him to school. It keeps him occupied on the bus. He struggled on which two to bring for the first day of school to show all his friends.

Noah ran to the bus

Lily and I waited excitedly for Noah for over 20 minutes

Just another Sunday

Sunday, August 30th Late afternoon Lily was chilling watching a movie we got from the Red Box. She got a little congested Sunday and was feeling a little under the weather.
While the boys had sometime to bond . An afternoon of riding bikes, playing tag and simply running around.
While Brandon was doing some tile work in the half bathroom.
And I enjoyed the day cleaning our house with my little helper in hand (Colin) and mowing the lawn.

Putting Colin to Work

Sunday morning I decided to Spring clean the whole house and decided to recruite Colin. Since he need new soccer shoes and I need some help and I thought we could work together. But he wasn't to happy with the idea of working for his shoes. He cleaned most of the windows, vaccummed the kids and his bedroom and the steps and we split up dusting. After all said and done I think Colin actually had fun. He was a big help. That night Colin got his soccer shoes.

Veggies Tonight and Every night until there're gone!

We have so many cucumbers Brandon can't eat them fast enough. We only have 2 tomato plants. We were sadden by the loss of our 2 cherry tomato plants that were riped out of the ground because of the horrible storms we had last month. The only thing I wanted from the garden was cherry tomatoes. Darn you storm....

Happy Birthday Dad

Today my dad would have celebrated his 60th birthday. But instead we took time in reflecting on our most fond memories of him. There are so many to choose from. I had in the recent months reconnected with a childhood friend. After a couple of e-mails I wrote to her and told her about my dad and she emailed me back with this: I'm so sorry about your dad!! I'm remembering us as kids/teens now and how funny he was. Remember when he took us to that pizza place in Saukville and they knocked on the wall when the pizza was done? We just thought that was hilarious and he thought we were crazy for laughing so much! Or when he busted us toilet papering your own house because we didn't want to make it obvious that we did the other yards and he said, "Get out there and clean that up, and by the way, your not supposed to toilet paper your own house!!" Or sitting in the Ray-mobile listening to his stories while he would drive me home from your house. And of course how we would get busted watering down his wine after we thought we were sneaky by drinking some of it.My how our lives has progressed and the things that have happened! For the good and the bad. After reading that message Dawn wrote I had tears just remembering all the hilarious memories and how great of a dad he was. He was a great listener who kept me grounded. He was funny even when he wasn't trying to be. Patient in answering any questions I had or helping me with my problems or school work. At times felt like he was the only one that really knew me from a child until an adult. At the end of the day I knew he loved me as his own daughter. I loved him just as much and a day does not pass that I don't think of him. Happy Birthday Dad!

Another Bathroom Almost Done

This week we started working on the kids bathroom. We have tile that we bought about a year ago from Home Depot in the clearance area. We painted the walls a grey and we are going to paint the cabinet a white with a tint of gray and the molding the same color. Wish us luck.

Brady's 9th Birthday Party at the Mineshaft

On Sunday the kids and I went to my nephews birthday Party at the Mineshaft in Hartland. It was a great time. They had pizza following with some fun games upstairs area. With each game you received some tickets and at the end you totaled up the tickets to pick out a prize or prizes all depending how many tickets. It was a perfect place to have a kids party. Happy Birthday to one cool kid..Brady!
