Catching Up

I haven't been so good with the blogging this month. It's been difficult finding the time. I wanted to get all of the March post in before it turned to April. It took 2 hours to download pictures, do 4 post and still tend to the kids (getting snack, drinks and bedtime). But I love blogging. It's like a family journal. At times I find the kids checking out the blog looking at old entries and isn't that what it's all about. Making memories! X Carnival Pictures, Images and Photos

Happy Birthday Lily

Lily turned 4 on March 24th. Once the kids were off to school Brandon and I took Lily out for breakfast. After she finished her meal they brought out a slice of pie with a candle on top and sang Happy Birthday to her. So sweet, I actually started to tear up watching her smile in excitement. Once she got home she opened some small gifts. Her big gift this year was a pink bike she picked out at the store. In the afternoon she helped me make her birthday cake. She asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and oh yeah chocolate ice cream. I've had so much fun watching her grow up. Happy 4th Birthday My Little Love Bug!

Home Sweet Home

Couple of weeks ago we went to visit Brandon's family in Fredonia and we took a small detour to my hometown of Port Washington. I had so much fun showing the kids where I grew up. Maybe not so much for them but for me. I took them past the house I grew up in. Wow it looked so different it use to have black shutters, didn't have the bushes in the front, and didn't have the front porch. A couple of years ago the house was for sale and I always wished I would have checked it out. Now looking at it I think it would've been to hard to see. There's not a space in the house that doesn't hold some type of memory.

Birthday Party for Three

A Birthday party for William, Paige and Lily at Chucky Cheese. William turned 4 in January, Paige turned 3 in February and Lily's turns 4 in March. The kids had a blast and not to mention so did Brandon and Big Colin. You can't beat pizza, cupcakes, games and a big talking mouse singing to you.

You Rock Colin

I was asked by Colin to put this in the blog and it looks like it made the cut. He'll be so happy. We celebrate Colin's 1 year with diabetes on March 22nd. He's had his ups and downs but he's gotten through it. His last doctor's visit the doctor asked him on a 1-10 how he felt about taking so many shots, 1 being bad. He replied 10, their not so bad. For his 1 year he got another Dairy of a Wimpy Kid book and he went to see the movie in theater. I am so proud of him. He such a great kid and I love him soo much. You Rock Colin.

Princess Nails

Oh la la! Those are some fancy princess nail. It made her hour because that's how long they stayed on. They differently aren't Lee Press On Nail not even close. But we had a fun putting them on.

Happy V-Day

Happy Valentine's Day! The kids woke up extra early to see their V-day gifts. Gabe and Colin had to sing for school in early church so we asked the kids to be dressed and ready for church before they came downstairs. It gave me enough time to blow up some balloons. The kids loved their gifts, balloons and cake. We had a wonderful day together.
Colin loved his book. He likes the series of books called Diary of the Wimpy Kid.
Noah loves cars.
Gabe loves dogs and really wants a real one.
Lily got a magnetic doll that you change her clothes.
I got a chocolate cake for the kids and a lemon cake for Brandon.

Getting Ready for Valentine's Day

A fun little project the kids and I did a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time and who doesn't love hearts in February!

I love this man When I was a little girl I remember laying on a hill with a friend looking up at the stars wondering if my future husband was looking up at the sky and wondering what he was doing at that very moment. I was such a dreamer as a young child that sometimes I would drift off to sleep dreaming of my future. I often think of that young girl and if I would see her now I would tell her it turned out better then I ever could have imaged it. He is the most loving, kindest and supportive husband. He's a great listener which is great because I'm a talker(periodically I do quiz him). He truly is amazing. There's nothing he wouldn't do for me or the kids. If he had to he would walk to hell and back for anyone of us even barefoot. I could not have picked out a better father for my children. Sometimes I just watch him with our children when he doesn't think I looking and I get all teary watching how wonderful he is with them. He makes time with each of them doing things they love doing. He'd give them a million kisses and hugs in a day if he could. I look forward growing old with him counting our wrinkles and laughing. Remembering all the wonderful memories we made together. The years are going fast already watching our beautiful babies grow into children and soon they'll adults. I truly am blessed to have him by my side.
After so many years you still give me butterflies. Happy Anniversary xoxo Nicole
